I encountered intense computer crime and obstructions as I struggled to write at this blog on May 8, 2018. 

Attachments to the finished text will make the obstructions clear to all intended recipients. 

New Jersey government and/or judiciary computers were used in the commission of these crimes and attempts at censorship that is content-based.

The essay that appears below with one hundred sources attached will be sent to United States Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy; Jefferson B. Sessions, Esq., U.S. Attorney General (as of this morning); and to the Cuban Embassy to the United States of America.

There is no longer any point (for me) in seeking to communicate with the legal ethics establishment in New Jersey.

It is never certain whether I will be able to return to this site to continue writing. 

The amount of harassment and, I believe, N.J. governmental computer crime that I struggle against to write and post essays is beyond my powers of description. 

It is bizarre and to use a much-maligned word, "surreal," that I have yet to receive a response from the Manhattan District Attorney and New York Police Department to my communications.

There is reason to hope that things are different with the feds.

No doubt Justice Kennedy can hardly wait to receive my communications and, along with his Brethren, will be absolutely delighted to have been made a part of this fascinating story. 

Jersey Journal Editorial Board, "Menendez 'Severely' Admonished by Senate for Actions That Led to Indictment," Jersey Journal, April 26, 2018, posted to the online edition http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf (Front Page Lead) ("The Senate Ethics Committee [made up of 3 Democrats and 3 Republicans] severely admonished U.S. Senator Robert Menendez Thursday" -- Mr. Menendez may be immune to reforming his conduct as a result of public humiliation! -- "for accepting gifts from a friend and campaign donor, Dr. Salomon Melgen, and advised [Menendez] to repay their [full market] value ..." Presumably, these payments would be made to Dr. Melgen in prison. The Committee in a letter to Menendez said that the senator advanced Melgen's "personal and business interests" while accepting those gifts. Mr. Menendez's lawyer Marc [sic.] Ellias, Esq. may have lied by suggesting in response to this letter that such "accusations" were "rejected by a trial jury" that actually failed to arrive at any verdict one way or another, nor was the criminal trial result for Mr. Menendez "determined" by a judge who upheld 11 counts of the most recent restored indictment even as he rejected 7 other counts of the same indictment. Mr. Menendez continues to be the subject of new FBI investigations and grand jury proceedings unrelated to Dr. Melgen that involve persons close to the senator, allegedly, and maybe the senator himself as a prospective witness. The disgrace to the U.S. Senate resulting from Mr. Menendez's conduct was noted. See the discussion below in the list of sources. Incidentally, is there such a person as "Marc Ellias, Esq."? Or is "Marc Ellias" a fictitious name used by Senator Menendez and/or Ms. Munoz and/or "others"?)

The reverend is alleged to have claimed that his sexual peculiarity is "no sin in New Jersey." It is unclear whether this "holy man" was among those who prayed with Mr. Menendez at his recent trial before jury members. Alterino, "Principal Talked Sex Toys, Wanted Me in Short Skirt, School Official Says in Law Suit," N.J.Com, April 4, 2018, posted to the online edition http://www.nj.com/bergen/index.ssf/2018/04/... ("Denise Vega-Moore claims in a lawsuit that she was sexually harassed by the principal while working as his assistant at Hackensack Middle School." Allegedly, much the same behavior was experienced by students -- 12- and 13-year-old girls -- at this school.) 

"UNION CITY -- Senator Robert Menendez officially announced his intention to run for reelection at a raucus rally on Wednesday, a remarkable turn two months after federal prosecutors dismissed corruption charges against the N.J. Democrat." (N.Y.T., March 29, 2018, p. A18.)

In an astonishing and cynical display of contempt for the U.S. Constitution, Mr. Robert Menendez chose to hold his rally announcing his candidacy for reelection to the U.S. Senate in the packed gymnasium of the PUBLIC Union City High School where students not yet old enough to vote were excused from classes (i.e., compelled to attend) in order to cheer for the man still facing ethics charges in the senate and alleged grand jury investigations over additional corruption. ("Menendez Jury Undecided; Retrial Expected" and "Retrial For Senator Menendez.")

Many of the students in Union City's public schools happen to come from Republican families that do not support Mr. Menendez; others are opposed (or repelled) by "Boss Bob," even as Democrats, given his very public and utterly loathsome behavior in recent years.

Fear of reprisals from the local political machine, and other forms of intimidation, resulted in "silencing" students and their relatives concerning the sickening corruption and incompetence in New Jersey under Mr. Menendez's rule. ("Law and Ethics in the Soprano State" and "Criminal Complaint Against Christie Allowed to Proceed.") 

This pervasive fear explains, perhaps, the understandable reluctance of many Union City residents to express anything but unreserved joy at the prospect of six more years of absolute power for "Big Bob." ("Menendez Consorts With Underage Prostitutes" and "Menendez Charged With Selling His Office.")

America's public schools and buildings, legally, are to remain neutral and not to be used as props or stage settings in partisan political dramas by allegedly corrupt politicians fond of strong arm tactics. ("Bribery in Union City New Jersey" and "Menendez Blames Castro For His Prostitution Habit.") 

One can only shudder with trepidation for the teenage girls exposed to Mr. Menendez's potential "amorous" attentions. ("New Jersey is Lucky Luciano's Havana" and "Senator Bob, the Babe, and the Big Bucks.") 

Neutrality in the public square and the inviolability of children are among the legal principles once taken for granted in American society. ("New Jersey is the Home of Child Molesters!" and "Is Union City New Jersey Meyer Lansky's Whore House?")

Perhaps for a man who sees no moral fault or need for an apology after having sex with what he claims was a 17-year-old (others say a 14-year-old) girl in his 62nd year such a "sentimental" concern for children seems "naive or idealistic." (Corrupt Law Firms, Senator Bob, and New Jersey Ethics.")

"For 11 weeks last year, the senator was a defendant in a federal corruption trial with headlines tracing the prosecutor's case, which accused him of abusing his office to help his friend and co-defendant, Dr. Salomon Melgen, [now a federal prison inmate convicted of criminal frauds against the taxpayers with the senator's assistance,] an eye doctor and political benefactor from Florida." (N.Y.T., March 29, 2018, p. A18.)

As voters ponder their choice in this election Mr. Menendez has grounds for confidence despite his colorful history. ("Menendez Charged With Selling His Office" and "Was Menendez Bribed to Get a Visa For a Croney?")

New Jersey's senior senator has compiled a war chest containing from $17 to $20 million, much of this money derived from "murky" sources, along with untold (or undeclared) cash that may also be available. ("Mafia Influence in New Jersey Courts and Politics" and "More Mafia Influence in New Jersey Courts and Politics.")

More importantly in a state with a solid traditional Democratic base and powerful machine for what is tactfully called "getting out the vote" (often votes are "derived" from local graveyards), Mr. Menendez may expect and will certainly receive thousands of votes in his favor no matter what happens in the headlines even if these votes are not cast legally by any living person. ("Voting in North Bergen New Jersey.")

Joseph Stalin once brushed aside any concern with the number of voters supporting him in an election by explaining that he only needed the support of the persons counting the votes. 

This charming anecdote concerning Mr. Stalin was discussed by President Putin recently with a merry chuckle. ("Bribery in Union City New Jersey" and "Illegal Payments to Bob Menendez.") 

Bob Menendez agrees with Stalin and Mr. Putin on this issue. ("Does Senator Menendez have mafia friends?")

On the other hand many votes for Mr. Menendez's Republican opponent, Mr. Hugin, are certain to be "lost" so as not to be counted. ("New Jersey is the Home of the Living Dead.")

Mr. Menendez has decided, wisely, to run against Donald J. Trump who is unpopular in New Jersey as, indeed, is Mr. Menendez despite a substantial lead in polls among "likely" voters from Hudson County's graveyards. 

In terms of what New Jersey's residents may expect from yet another term for Senator Bob the items appearing in local media accompanying the declaration of the Menendez candidacy make it very clear that this will include more political corruption; waste (or theft) of millions of taxpayer dollars; PROTECTED child-molestation and -prostitution on a colossal scale; drug dealing in urban counties with the cooperation (or even participation) of local police departments; a N.J. legal profession and judiciary under the thumb of political bosses will rubber stamp Mr. Menendez's wishes and keep his croneys in power (or sitting on the judicial bench) as the Garden State remains a joke or a byword for corruption on a global level. ("New Jersey is America's Legal Toilet" then "New Jersey's Political and Supreme Court Whores" and "New Jersey's Judges Disgrace America.")

To take only one example among many that will be listed, for instance, in Mr. Menendez's Hudson County, right in the town neighboring Union City, North Bergen Housing Authority Director, Geoffrey Santini, has been fired amid reports that he spent little time at the $87,000 per year job as more allegations of mafia-controlled figures in positions of authority (including long-time Mayor "Big Nicky" Sacco) lead to additional F.B.I. probes. ("North Bergen New Jersey is the Home of La Cosa Nostra" and "Jay Romano and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey.") 

More allegations of theft in Union City and North Bergen are surfacing in the media as corruption in the Jersey City, West New York, and other police departments, also in Hudson County, has led to the creation of a federal task force that is meant to bypass the "contaminated" Hudson County Prosecutor's Office. ("New Jersey Lawyers' Ethics Farce" and "Organized Crime Group in New Jersey's State Police.") 

Similar allegations concerning the Elizabeth police department are followed by claims of payoffs to Union County politicians. 

If this is the sort of community you wish to live in and hope that your children will thrive in then, by all means, vote for Mr. Menendez and you will be certain to get more of the same. ("Menendez Says He's Not Going Anywhere!")

One hundred sources will be attached to this essay detailing the exact condition of Mr. Menendez's home turf and his alleged "achievement" as a "fighter" for the people of the state after more than 30 years in public life.

The only way that positive change will happen in New Jersey is if people develop the courage to resist by refusing to reelect corrupt and/or incompetent politicians to office. 

You must decide whether Mr. Menendez is worthy of your continued support, assuming that it is not too late for all votes to be counted in Hudson and Bergen, Essex and Union Counties, so as to make a real difference for New Jersey's future.

(William Esker, 22, of Bayonne, New Jersey; Craig Kirschner, 39, of Malboro, New Jersey -- a nice Jewish boy? -- Jonathan Latiof, 49, [sic.] along with Raul Rodriguez, 33, of Jersey City, who were probably police officers were among the 79 persons in this Jersey-based network of child-porn afficionados whose next court appearances are coming up this month. Additional arrests are expected soon in Hudson County in connection with these same events that may involve "unidentified officials" in the area.)

(Fittingly enough, on Valentine's Day, a group of true romantics displayed their fondness for the fair sex by raping an unconscious woman. This is something prominent lesbians in New Jersey seem to enjoy. Ms. Santiago? Estela de La Cruz? Loreta a.k.a. Loretta Weinberg? Probably Lilian Munoz has done the same. I wonder what Ms. Munoz was doing in my office asking to see confidential client files secretly? Did Ms. Munoz lie about her identity to Marilyn Straus? Did Lilian Munoz -- Mr. Menendez's former law partner -- have sexual contact with Ms. Straus at any time? Was Ms. Straus unconscious or under hypnosis during some of these contacts Lilian? "Emeterio Castelan," 35, "Luis Tenecela," 20, and "Rene Jimenez," 29, are accused of sexually assaulting a woman in East Rutherford on February 5, 2018. No doubt this is today's style of "Jersey romance." Is this "ethical" Ms. Poritz? Mary Marban? Michelangelo Conte, "Messages on a Girl's Facebook Page Lead to Sex Charges for a Man: Police Say," Jersey Journal, February 15, 2018 posted to the online edition http://www.nj.com (Juan Gaspar, 20, who I am sure is a Bob Menendez supporter actually old enough to vote, sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl -- the child may be too old for Senator Menendez's taste! -- to whom the accused wrote suggestive messages posted on Facebook. Mr. Gaspar had sex with the young girl over a period of years beginning when the minor was 13-years-old. These events were discussed, openly, online, but were not "discovered" by the police until the matter was brought to their attention by a family member upset that complaints had been ignored. Chris Sheldon, "A Train Packed With Jersey Feces is Laying Waste to an Alabama Town," N.J.Com, April 4, 2018, posted to the online edition http://www.nj.com/2018/04/... (Waste products to be used as fertilizer have been "compiled" in a train station for days or weeks generating a stench that has driven local residents to take legal action. Mr. Menendez is described as a "train of N.J. feces" heading for Washington, D.C., but will New Jersey residents finally be driven to legal action to stop that train? Is "Jersey Feces" a redundancy? "New Jersey's Feces-Covered Supreme Court" and "New Jersey is America's Legal Toilet.")

Stephanie Saul, "Resignation at Harvard Over Claims of Abuse," The New York Times, March 17, 2018, p. A15. (Jorge I. Dominguez, a Harvard Professor of Government regarded as a "distinguished" as well as "highly ethical" Cuban-American supporter of Mr. Menendez and Mr. Rubio, has been forced to resign from the Harvard faculty over "sexual indiscretions" with graduate students for whom Mr. Dominguez, allegedly, sang his version of "Cuban Pete" wearing only a sombrero. No doubt there is a video of this performance. In response to requests for an explanation Professor Dominguez claimed that he "did not speak English." Compare "Miami's Cubanoids Protest Against Peace!" with "Cubanazos Pose a Threat to National Security.") 

Elizabeth A. Harris, "Prep School [in New Jersey] Faces Claims It Hid Abuse By Teacher," The New York Times, March 7, 2018, p. A21. (Elite prep-school in New Jersey, Pingry, faces claims that authorities lied about and covered-up -- probably with the assistance of police and prosecutors in Union County and Elizabeth -- sexual abuse of generations of students. Did New Jersey's OAE and Supreme Court KNOW OF and COVER UP sexual and other abuse of persons under hypnosis by "David" and/or "Diana Lisa Riccioli" or others? What happened to Marilyn Straus under hypnosis when she was legally incapable of consent? What did the OAE and New Jersey Supreme Court know and when did they know it? John McGill? Alex Booth? (The Leonia/Verona district is embattled over decisions to close local roads to non-residents of these towns. An investigation of local Middle School Principal Maria Martinez a.k.a. Barcelo, allegedly, is underway, but it may be "fixed" at any time. Mr. Menendez? Do you protect your secret "informers" Mr. McGill? Did you promise what you could not deliver Mr. McGill? Did Mr. McGill or anyone else, such as "David," for example, "guarantee" a particular result to Ms. Martinez? If so, what was that result? "New Jersey's Office of Attorney Ethics" and "John McGill, Esq., the OAE, and New Jersey Corruption.") 

M. Apuzzo, M. Schmidt, M. Haberman, E. Sullivan, "Lawyer's Files a Bigger Risk Than Mueller," The New York Times, April 4, 2018, p. A1. (Michael D. Cohen, Esq., a New York and New Jersey lawyer, also an alleged "friend" not only of President Donald J. Trump but also of "Little Debbie" Poritz and Stuart Rabner to say nothing of Barry Albin's rabbi, may have lied to investigators and obstructed justice, whether from necessity or inclination, without consequences in New Jersey, but leading to problems elsewhere. Mr. Cohen claimed to have acted on his own without Mr. Trump's knowledge to settle the Stormy Daniels matter -- grounds for disbarment? -- even as Mr. Trump claimed, through his new counsel, that he was in fact the "client" for the purpose of asserting attorney/client privilege in the case suggesting that President Trump knew of the contents of Mr. Cohen's files that he now wishes to keep private and that he had "misrepresented the facts" in earlier statements denying that he, Mr. Trump, was the client in the same Daniels matter. This fact has now been reasserted by Mr. Trump in a Fox News television interview when the president admitted that Mr. Cohen represented him in the Stormy Daniels matter: "Is truth dead?" and "N.J. Lawyers Have No Ethics!")

(Mr. Cohen, President Trump's so-called "fixer," is now the target of a "criminal" prosecution. N.J.'s OAE remains silent as does Barry Albin's rabbi, evidently, since no ethics matters are forthcoming against Mr. Cohen in New Jersey. I wonder why this is true? Double standards to benefit nice N.J. Jewish persons? "David Wildstein and Equal Protection of the Law in New Jersey" and "New Jersey's Politically-Connected Lawyers On the Tit.") 

Lindy Washburn, "Clifton Doctor Banned From Prescribing Painkillers," The Record, April 4, 2018, p. A-1. (Evangelos Megoriatis, M.D. overprescribed thousands of doses of painkillers and performed unnecessary surgeries to scam Medicaid as well as other insurers. Was Dr. Megoriatis "assisted" in his efforts by Senator Menendez for a small fee? "Menendez Croney's Office Raided.")

Joshua Jongsma, "Mayor's Son Sold Drugs, Cops Say: Works at Salon in Rochelle Park," The Record, April 4, 2018, p. L-1. (Anthony Bianchi, 44, of Nutley was arrested for drug dealing after being observed conducting numerous illicit transactions. The suspect is the son of North Arlington's Mayor which will ensure him a place in the local P.T.I. program allowing him to avoid any prison time. Drug-induced deaths and serious devastation of many lives will never be controlled in New Jersey until lawmakers and judges understand that more than street corner drug transactions by minority offenders are involved in what Mr. Christie called this "crisis." Cops and politicians are part of this illegal "industry" in New Jersey. Time to leave the hypocrisy and lies at home if you really wish to deal with the reality on the ground Mr. Rabner. "Have you no shame Mr. Rabner?")

Ken Serrano, "N.J. Drug Deaths on Record Pace," The Record, April 6, 2018, p. A-1. (New Jersey drug dealing and many resulting casualties are on the rise, largely (it seems), because of POLICE and prosecutorial complicity to say nothing of judicial corruption and incompetence. This should surprise no one when the likes of Lourdes Santiago and Maureen Manteneo are "on the bench" or, worse, in the old wicked days, Sybil R. Moses: "Suspected drug deaths in New Jersey have risen to 765 through April 1, [and] they are on pace to top the 3,000-mark for the first time, according to new data from the attorney general's office." Compare "Sybil R. Moses and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey" with "Trenton's Nasty Lesbian Love-Fest!") 

Keldy Ortiz & Kaitlyn Kanzler, "Ex-Teacher Charged in Assault Case: Police Say Clifton Man Allegedly Had Sex Relations With a Student," The Record, April 6, 2018, p. L-1. (Yet another child molesting teacher in the soiled New Jersey educational system adds to the "aroma" of what has been described as "the rectum of the nation." Joshua Green, 33, of Clifton -- a nice Jewish boy -- residing in a town that is well-known mafia turf, evidently, had sex with a teenage student for years. Passaic County Prosecutor and alleged lesbian "M.Valdes" said: "Whatever." See: "New Jersey Rabbi Faces Child Porn Charges.") 

Joe Malinconico, "Drug Dealing Charges For Grandmother, Granddaughter," The Record, April 6, 2018, p. L-2. (Altagracia Soto and her 17-year-old granddaughter were among 9 people arrested pursuant to an investigation in Paterson's 6th ward. Detectives seized $10,000 in marijuana and cocaine along with almost $15,000 in cash. There may have been prostitution involved in this social circle as well as the drug activity. Grandma may have pimped her granddaughter and others, including minors no doubt, together with other items for sale there may have been guns and illegal documents available at cut-rate prices. "Links" to Joey Torres, Esq. and Bob Menendez, Esq. are no doubt denied. This operation has come as news to Ms. Valdes the Passaic County Prosecutor. "14-Year-Old Girl Goes For $500 in Union City New Jersey" and "New Jersey Welcomes Child Molesters.")

(In Lodi and most of New Jersey hiring at the municipal level is "all in the family" in every sense. New Jersey is mafia country. Allegations that the DiChiaras and Quatrones have become the Corleones and Barzzinis of North Jersey cannot be confirmed. Limiting nepotism offends traditions of home rule in New Jersey. Police Chief Vincent Quatrone said he "don't know nothing!" Jaynee LaVecchia agrees: "Law and Ethics in the Soprano State" and "Jaynee LaVecchia and Conduct Unbecoming to the Judiciary in New Jersey.")

(Geoffrey Berman, Esq., Mr. Christie's man in New Jersey who is alleged to have assisted the former governor's famous "telephone lies" and "lies about his telephone" in connection with Bridgegate, recused himself from the raid on Michael Cohen, Esq.'s office. Does Mr. Berman "belong" to Donald J. Trump these days? Do these entangling alliances explain the silence from the U.S. Attorney's office in connection with my matters as international attention grows? Stacey Borchenger, "Lakewood Fraud: 159 Are Granted Amnesty, Repay $2 MILLION," The Record, March 28, 2018, p. A-4. ("State Officials said Tuesday 159 people [all Jews] took advantage of a controversial prosecution amnesty program in the wake of the welfare fraud [lying to scam money] arrests in Lakewood. Those individuals are expected to repay a total of $2 MILLION -- an average of $13,800 each -- in Medicaid benefits [which] they WRONGLY RECEIVED, according to the Office of the State Comptroller." There is no record of such a deal being offered to African-Americans prosecuted often for trivial amounts of over-payments in food or medicine to mothers of small children or disabled men. African-Americans are indeed prosecuted to the "fullest extent of the law" in New Jersey for "perceived" fraud. Not our friends in the Jewish community, however, who, as Debbie Poritz explained, "do not commit crimes," especially if they happen to be Ms. Poritz's fellow lesbians. Lourdes Santiago and Maureen Manteneo will concur in this opinion to keep their judgeships. No one in Lakewood will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for criminal frauds resulting in the loss of millions of taxpayer dollars -- frauds which, evidently, will also not be deemed "unethical," nor will anyone be subjected to interrogations under hypnosis, tortured, or raped for committing these offenses as many persons are, routinely, in New Jersey with the knowledge of the authorities. Is any further "proof" needed concerning sexism in our culture? For the same reason many New Jersey offenders were and are fond of using the so-called "date rape" drug. Alina Fallat?)

(Given the widespread drug abuse and alcoholism among New Jersey police officers, some Garden State police departments lead the nation in these problems with resulting incompetence, finally, compulsory drug testing of cops on a regular basis is contemplated. Try testing Union City, North Bergen, West New York and Elizabeth cops. Cops protecting drug dealers were sometimes paid in cocaine in such towns "allegedly.")

(If the reward for theft, incompetence and sheer inaction at New Jersey transit is MORE public money for managers to throw away there will be no incentive for corrupt and/or moronic bureaucrats to get their act together. Much the same is true of the OAE where a culture of silence and mutual protection undermines the agency's mission to protect the public. The double standards must end. Time to tell the truth. Steve Janoski, "Fentanyl Penalty Seen as Too Light: Spread of Deadly Drug Prompts New Jersey Legislation," The Record, April 23, 2018, p. A-1. ("When the New Jersey State Police arrested Daniel Vazquez and Jesus Correa-Pineda in a North Bergen parking lot last June, the two men had between them enough fentanyl to KILL every person in New Jersey and New York city." If you believe that the local power structure in Hudson County, Bob Menendez, "Big Nicky" Sacco, along with the Hudson County machine, including a corrupt judiciary, police and prosecutors, have nothing to do with the reality of countless similar "teams" of men carrying similar or worse merchandise, usually into Manhattan and often with a police escort, you are simply not living in the real world. Hudson County's authorities are "for sale" -- with a few honorable exceptions -- so that drugs, guns, child-porn and -prostitution remains out-of-control. Accordingly, the danger to every resident of the area -- not only to New Jersey's people -- has become unacceptable. Fentanyl is used to "flavor" heroin, but it may be substituted next time for a nerve agent purchased on the black market from Syrian or Iranian suppliers, or even from Russians with access to the former KGB's stocks, then "spread" to Manhattan crowds causing many potential deaths, perhaps, and adding up to many thousands of related casualties in the days and weeks after such a terrorist attack. I can only hope that such a catastrophe will be avoided. The possible harm from New Jersey's culture of corruption concerns more than the loss of faith in what can only be described as a failed legal system and tainted politicians, but must now be seen as a genuine public safety issue for the entire tri-state area and not only for me personally or my family members. (If a person can smuggle things "into" Iran from New Jersey in violation of U.S. law then I am sure that it may be even easier to smuggle things "into" the U.S. from Iran --like a prohibited nerve agent! -- or a "weapon" obtained by way of Russian contacts of Iran since these countries seem to have common interests in Syria. Evidently, this is a matter that concerns the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Commerce Department. New Jersey authorities, as usual, were clueless.) 

"Confronting Threat of Hate, Terror in Our Midst," (Editorial) The Record, March 2, 2018, p. A-12. (Several of the suspects in the October 31 terror attack in Manhattan lived in Paterson. Other "culprits" in foiled attacks, also in Manhattan, were traced to Hoboken and Jersey City as well as Elizabeth, New Jersey. It is estimated that North Jersey has the largest possible "network" of sympathizers with extremist elements in the Middle East, including ISIS, of any comparable territory in the United States of America as well as the most corrupt and least effective law enforcement establishment and courts in the nation. This is not a good combination in terms of ensuring the security of the people in the tri-state area. "An Open Letter to Cyrus Vance, Jr., Esq.")

(A number of organized crime groups favor legalization of pot because they are already involved in the illegal industry. The analogy to prohibition is obvious. Alex N. Gecan, "Jersey Shore Mafia Drug Ring Busted," The Record, March 20, 2018, p. A-4. (The FBI disrupted a mafia drug ring bringing drugs from the Jersey shore all the way into Manhattan. These offenders enjoyed a great deal of protection from municipal and state police in New Jersey, but also from local lawyers and judges: " ... federal agents charged 79-year-old Carl Chianese of Point Pleasant, 49-year-old Michael Collichio of Garfield[,] and 58-year-old Joseph Seridio [sic.] of Upper [Saddle River?] Township with possession and conspiring to distribute metamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, tramadol and marijuana ..." The men, allegedly, claimed to be "personal friends" of Maureen Manteneo.)

(Mohamed Khalil has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that he was beaten by New Jersey police officers for filing a civil complaint over the violation of his rights by cops. Perhaps, as an African-American, Mr. Khalil was not aware that only mafia members paying protection fees are entitled to respect of their U.S. Constitutional rights in New Jersey. I was told by John McGill that the U.S. Constitution "does not apply to OAE proceedings in New Jersey." Maybe Mr. McGill was correct about that: "Driving While Black [DWB] in New Jersey" and "Albert Florence and New Jersey's Racism.")

Mr. Ortega explained that he favored legalization of marijuana. Allegedly, the "Defendant" called on Bob Menendez to back efforts to make marijuana use comparable to cigarette smoking in New Jersey. Will Dr. Melgen vouch for Mr. Ortega? "Was Menendez Bribed to Get a Visa For a Croney?" and "Menendez to be Indicted; Christie Faces Ethics Charges.")

Matt Fagan, "Juelz Santana Remains Behind Bars," The Record, March 20, 2018, p. L-3. ("Rapper Juelz Santana, who is facing gun and drug charges, is likely to remain locked-up until Friday, which is how long it will take federal and state authorities to decide who will prosecute the case." Democrats in New Jersey seem amazingly close to organized crime offenders -- offenders whose actions make the allegations against Mr. Santana trivial by comparison -- but by coming down heavily on offenders without substantial resources or "connections" the same politicians can appear to be doing something about the "scourge of drugs in our communities," to quote Mr. Menendez, who, allegedly, is fond of cocaine and marijuana to say nothing of good Scotch: "Menendez Consorts With Underage Prostitutes" and "Stuart Rabner's Selective Sense of Justice.")     

Maggie Astor, "Menendez is 'Severely Admonished' by Senate Panel for Accepting Gifts," The New York Times, April 27, 2018, p. A21: 

"The Senate Ethics Committee 'severely admonished' Senator Robert Menendez on Thursday for accepting gifts from a wealthy donor while using his position to promote the doctor's personal financial interests."

"Tricia Enright," [Lilian Munoz] the alleged personal spokesperson for Senator Menendez, reputedly claimed that "he doesn't care about that." 

The Committee "has also ordered Mr. Menendez, a New Jersey Democrat, [allegedly] to repay the market value of all improper gifts [from Dr. Melgen and not from others necessarily] that he has not already repaid."

The current market value of the Dominican Republic's prostitutes' professional services may be difficult to determine.

"The admonition stems from the same actions for which Mr. Menendez was indicted in 2015. His trial -- in which the doctor, Salomon E. Melgen, was a co-defendant -- ended in a deadlocked jury in November 2017, and the federal government chose not to re-try Mr. Menendez. In its letter of admonition, the Ethics Committee acknowledged that the trial 'did not result in a conviction,' but wrote, 'The criminal system, however, neither enforces nor supplants the Senate's rules of Standards of Conduct, [OAE? No proceedings against Mr. Menendez? Will legal ethics charges come from the U.S. Supreme Court?] and the committee's action stands independent of the result.' ..."

The specific factual findings of the committee are not disputed by Mr. Menendez:

" ... 'Mr. Menendez KNOWINGLY and REPEATEDLY accepted gifts of significant value [emphasis added] from Dr. Melgen without obtaining the required committee approval' and 'failed to publicly disclose certain gifts as required by Senate rule and federal law.' ..." 

In other words, Mr. Menendez lied and tried to hide the "relationship" with Dr. Melgen and the "gifts" received:

"The gifts included private flights and nights at luxury hotels."

Having now been found to have brought disgrace and dishonor to the U.S. Senate and legal profession in New Jersey, Mr. Menendez has been asked to do what Mr. Torricelli did for the good of the institution, i.e., to abandon his reelection effort. 

Mr. Menendez has refused all requests to do the right thing.

Curiously, despite his many claims of undying friendship for Dr. Melgen, Mr. Menendez has expressed no concern -- nor even mentioned his bosom buddy's fate -- after Dr. Melgen's incarceration and the conclusion of Menendez's criminal trial. Ms. Poritz began her tenure with a plausible claim to being a civil libertarian, but may have ended by exploiting women working under her while condoning torture and allowing for questioning of persons under hypnosis in New Jersey. The Bush-era lawyers who propounded this lie, Mr. Bybee and Mr. Yoo, were rewarded with a federal judgeship and law professorship, respectively, as America's credibility on international human rights issues declined to a new low. Ms. Haspel embodies and has come to symbolize torture, which she has yet to disown, leading to the question of whether she is the best person to head the CIA today. I doubt it.)

The only member of the U.S. Senate who is not a millionaire is Bernie Sanders. Mr. Hugin's wealth came from work as a pharmaceutical executive and shrewd investments. Mr. Menendez was paid a modest salary as a "public servant" -- I use this term loosely -- but engaged in insider trading, legally if not ethically, as a member of the House of Representatives and has been accused, repeatedly, of bribery.)

(More videos are turning up of teachers denigrating students and colleagues, also of New Jersey teachers and administrators known to have indulged in sex with children. Will something happen to finally control this catastrophe in Garden State schools? Unlikely.) 

Keldy Ortiz, "Man Accused of Selling Weapons," The Record, May 9, 2018, p. L-2. (A Pennsylvania man was arrested in New Jersey for selling weapons to an undercover detective. Just as rifles and grenades are sold, illegally, by hundreds of persons like Anderson Okie, so other items may be purchased, equally illegally, from U.S. suppliers, perhaps, including chemical weapons. Nothing to worry about?)     

If there is a single item that seems to capture New Jersey's reality today as I expect to demonstrate further in future essays (I hope) this must be it:

(In May of 2018 this matter is still under review in the N.J. courts, legal issues are unresolved, and facing the mystery of irredeemable evil is avoided. We continue to lie to ourselves about what has taken place in this case and what needs to happen: Liam McAtasney, 19, observed the clock tick, calmly, as Sarah Stein, 20, took her final breaths after he strangled her so violently that she was "lifted from the ground as her throat was crushed," Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor Meghan Doyle told Superior Court Judge David Bauman -- who may have yawned during this statement -- on only one of many CONTINUING detention hearings and motion arguments. Mr. McAtasney claimed he was "bored" and decided to kill his high school classmate. In 2018 there is no closure for survivors of this horror, no peace, no end to the nightmare. The horror continues.
